The draft Mines (Safety Training) Regulations proposed to be made under the Mines and Quarries Act, 1965, are nearing completion within my Department. The Act requires that notice of intention to make the regulations should be published in order that representations from interested parties should be considered. I hope to be in a position to publish this notice in the near future.
