I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that there has been a considerable number of requests for the amnesty declaration form. This form is not required to be returned until 29 July 1986, the date on which the amnesty expires. I consider that it would not be appropriate to reveal how many persons have returned completed application forms, before the expiry date of the amnesty.
