asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in the payment of a £2,000 new house grant to persons (details supplied) in County Louth; and when the grant will be paid.
There has been no undue delay in dealing with this application. The grant will be paid when an inspection establishes that the house has been satisfactorily completed and occupied and that all the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been fulfilled. The inspection will be carried out within the next few weeks.
