An application for financial assistance towards the cost of attending the International Cerebral Palsy Games to be held in Belgium from 4 to 10 July 1986 was received from Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland on Wednesday 25 June 1986. I have awarded a grant of £1,000 to the Cerebral Palsy team to help defray the costs involved in their participation at this event. My Department will be in touch with the Cerebral Palsy Sport Ireland in this connection in the next few days.
