I am aware of the condition of the quays at Drogheda Harbour and I have approved a grant allocation to the Harbour Commissioners to enable them to appoint consulting engineers to examine the quays, recommend the work necessary and provide estimates of the approximate cost of restoration to full operational use. I understand that the consulting engineers have begun their examination. The matter will be further considered in the light of their report.
