The delay in inspections in the Mayo area have mainly arisen from the assignment of additional duties to the housing inspector for the area. This arrangement has now been terminated and, in addition, a temporary inspector is carrying out new house work in the area. It is expected that the position in relation to these inspections will be restored to normal in the near future.
