My Department has been unable to complete the purchase of these lands and pay the purchase money pending the establishment by the vendor of proper title to the lands.
As soon as the vendor's title has been registered in the Land Registry there will be no avoidable delay by the Department in completing the purchase. The Chief State Solicitor, who is acting for the Department, is in communication with the vendor's solicitor in the matter.
