(1) that, having informed the President that Dáil Éireann had approved my nomination of Deputies to be members of the Government, the President, on 10 March 1987 appointed them accordingly;
(2) that on the same date I nominated Deputy Brian Lenihan to be the Tánaiste;
(3) that on the same date I assigned the Department of the Gaeltacht to myself and other Departments of State to the other members of the Government as follows:

(b)altering, with effect from 20 March 1987,
the title of the Minister for the Public Service to the Minister for Tourism and Transport,
the name of the Department of the Public Service to the Department of Tourism and Transport,
the title of the Minister for Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry to the Minister for the Marine, and
the name of the Department of Tourism, Fisheries and Forestry to the Department of the Marine.
