The allocations made by my predecessor on 9 March 1987 under the amenity grants scheme included amounts in respect of a number of community centres in the Tallaght area. These allocations were withdrawn on 23 March 1987 pending a review of the scheme in the context of the Department's overall estimates of expenditure for 1987 and the budgetary position generally.
