Vol. 372 No. 1

Written Answers. - Cattle Headage Payments.

136.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Cork will receive cattle headage payments in view of the fact that she indicated she had rented land from a person though not on the application form.

Only land shown on the application form can be taken into account for headage payment purposes where, as in this case, the forage area limitation is applicable. The person named is, therefore, entitled to payment in respect of the total of 22.5 acres of owned and rented land shown on her application form. As she has already been paid in respect of 17.5 acres, an additional payment of £121.40 for the balance of five acres will issue to her shortly.
