In February last, Roscommon County Council were notified of an initial capital allocation to meet expenditure in 1987 on the provision of new single rural cottages, schemes of two to five houses and where appropriate demountables and mobile homes. I hope shortly to notify housing authorities of further allocations of capital for their 1987 housing programmes.
