I propose to amend the Health Boards Regulations, 1970, to enable Galway Borough Council to appoint two members to the Western Health Board. In accordance with the Health Act, 1970, I will shortly be placing a resolution for the approval of the proposed amendments before both Houses of the Oireachtas.
