It is a matter for the North Eastern Health Board which administers the supplementary welfare payments scheme in County Louth on behalf of the Department of Social Welfare through its community welfare officers to determine if additional staff are required. As no proposals for extra staff have been received recently by my Department from the board, I have no plans to approve the provision of extra personnel.
