asked the Minister for Education if theories of career choices were incorporated in the design, implementation and evaluation of (a) the SPIRAL project, 1978-82, (b) the early school leavers project, 1979-82, and (c) the north Mayo-Sligo project on education for development, 1978-82; the precise wording, together with the full reference, in relation to Resolution 10/76 initiating these pilot projects under the terms of the resolution of the Council of the European Community and the meeting of Ministers for Education in December, 1976.

The pilot projects referred to by the Deputy were implemented to assist in the evaluation and development of national policies in respect of themes set out in the resolution of the Council of Ministers for Education of 13 December 1976 a copy of which is being lodged in the Oireachtas Library.
In relation to the detailed implementation of these projects I have arranged that a copy of the national dossier on the projects be sent to the Deputy. I am also arranging to have a copy of the dossier lodged in the Oireachtas Library.
