I have approved grants totalling £11,800 for the Irish Hockey Union from the proceeds of the National Lottery to assist towards the cost of: (a) coaching, administration, equipment and special projects designed to increase participation and improve standards. (b) hosting and attending major international competitions. (c) the development of mini-hockey in schools.
