Resources are allocated to vocational education committees on a calendar year basis, not on the basis of the academic year. The information in relation to the 1988 calendar year will only become available when the Government have completed their deliberations and taken decisions on the 1988 Estimates. The information requested in respect of the 1987-88 academic year is, therefore, not available.
The information in relation to the financial year ending 31 December, 1987 is given in the form of a tabular statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
