Vol. 373 No. 12

Written Answers. - Lispole (Kerry) New School.

183.

asked the Minister for Education when the proposed new primary school at Lispole, County Kerry will be built.

My Department in January 1987 formally sanctioned a grant towards the cost of the proposed new national school at Lispole, County Kerry to replace the existing buildings serving Minard Castle and Clooncurra national schools. My Department's professional advisers have accordingly been asked to list the project for preparation of tender documentation. It will not, however, be possible to advance this project significantly in the immediate future because of the large number of other projects which are at an advanced stage of planning, or for which tenders have been received, and which are awaiting capital allocations. My Department's Primary Buildings Branch will keep in touch with the school authorities regarding the further processing of the project.
