The Book of Estimates for Public Services, 1988, indicates that the allocation for DION — Committee on Welfare Services Abroad will be maintained at £250,000. Given the present difficult situation, necessitating cuts in many areas of public expenditure the Government regret that it is not possible to increase the allocation in 1988.
