The number of individuals and companies to whom tax relief was allowed under section 8 of the Finance Act, 1986, in the year ended 5 April 1987 was six. Figures supplied by Cospóir indicate that the total number of individuals and companies who are likely to qualify for tax relief in respect of donations made to and accepted by that body to date is 336.
