Comprehensive Public Expenditure Programmes 1986 was published in December 1986. It was intimated in the introduction to this volume that, for the future, a summary of financial data would be published annually with updates of the programme statements being published at less frequent intervals.
In line with this arrangement, Summary of Public Expenditure Programmes 1987 which gives a summary of the financial data on each programme but does not contain the detailed programme statements, was published in June 1987.
