asked the Minister for Labour in respect of the years 1983 to 1986 inclusive (a) the numbers of trainees who have participated in programmes run by CERT (b) the number of trainees who have been placed in hotels or other catering institutions who contribute towards the upkeep of CERT (c) the average wage which they would have received in 1986 (d) the subsidy per trainee which the individual would have received by way of an allowance and (e) the subsidy, if any, which the employer would have received per participating trainee; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

In the time available CERT Ltd. are not able to provide the information in the format requested by the Deputy. The following tabular statement gives the best information available.
