asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for the supervisory inspector to call and review a house improvement grant application (details supplied) in County Wexford in view of the fact that the applicant totally disputes information from the last inspector's report.
This application had to be rejected as the works relate solely to the provision of a separate self-contained unit and such works do not come within the scope of the house improvement grants scheme.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding the new house grant application of a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.
An inspection with a view to allocation and payment of the £2,000 new house grant will be carried out as soon as possible. A £2,250 "builders" grant cannot be allowed as the application was received after 16th October, 1987, which was the final date for the receipt of applications for this grant.
