I am informed by the Garda authorities that the numbers of persons extradited to here from Great Britain and Northern Ireland during the period 1968 to date were 938 and 137, respectively.
The statistics for the period 1965 to 1967 are not readily available from Garda records and it would not be possible to compile them without the expenditure of a disproportionate amount of Garda time.
