As the Deputy is aware, a provision of £20 million is made in the Estimates for agricultural advisory, educational and research services in 1988. Additional resources will be available from consultancy earnings, commercial operations, and EC funding. In addition there will be savings from rationalisation of physical and other resources of the existing bodies. My reference to self-financing must be understood in the foregoing context.
