Full details of the proposed retirements in AFT under the voluntary scheme have not yet been received in my Department. However, the particulars so far available indicate that there has been a satisfactory balance as between the various categories of staff. The organisation have, of course, discretion under the scheme to retain staff members with core skills essential for their continued effectiveness.
