asked the Minister for Finance arising out of the reply to Parliamentary Question No. 72 of 1 December 1987 if he will give details of the work that has been carried out to the facade of the building occupied by his Department in Talbot Street, Dublin 1; when this work will be completed; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Refurbishment work at the facade of the Department's offices in Talbot Street commenced in December 1987. The cleaning of the stonework is now virtually completed and the necessary painting work will commence shortly.
