asked the Minister for the Environment when a new house grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a new house grant from the person named at the address given.

asked the Minister for the Environment whether an application for a new house grant has been received from a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; whether the application is in order; and if a grant will be paid in the near future.

There is no record of the receipt of an application for a new house grant from the person named at the address given.

asked the Minister for the Environment when payment of a new house grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

The £2,250 "builder's grant" will be approved when the National House Building Guarantee Company issues the guarantee certificate in respect of the house.

Payment of the grant will be made to the builder of the house in two instalments in accordance with the conditions of the scheme.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding payment of a new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford.

An inspection, with a view to approval of a grant will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in payment of a house improvement grant to persons (details supplied) in County Waterford as works were completed six months ago.

Notification of completion of work has not been received.

The second and third instalments of the mortgage subsidy will be paid as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment the present position regarding payment of a house improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford in respect of three houses at the coastguard station, Ballymacaw, Dunmore East, County Waterford.

The receipt of certain information requested from the applicant is awaited.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will confirm that a special grant of £3,000 per house will be made available by his Department to the residents of Seagrange and Seacliffe estates in Baldoyle, Dublin 13, to assist in the rehabilitation of the roofs there; if he will indicate the conditions on which the grant is to be made available; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

House improvement grants of £3,000, together with local authority improvement loan facilities to meet the after grant cost, are being made available to the residents of this estate towards the cost of replacing flat roofs with traditional apex roofs. It is a condition of the arrangements that the residents indemnify Dublin Corporation against further legal action and that the corporation arrange with the residents' association for the carrying out of the work.
