Vol. 378 No. 3

Written Answers. - School Transport.

138.

asked the Minister for Education if she will make alternative arrangements in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Dublin who is experiencing grave inconvenience and hardship as a result of the failure of her Department to provide an adequate service to transport her daughter from her home in Ballybrack to St. Michael's special school, Glenmaroon.

The type of transport service available to the child in question is the same as is available to many other pupils of this school. It would not be open to my Department to sanction the cost, which would be inordinate, of a special transport service for the child to and from her home.
