The Commission proposal entitled Making a success of the Single Act has been the subject of detailed examination at the Council of Ministers and at the European Council over the last 12 months.
The European Council in Brussels on 11/12 February adopted conclusions on the proposals. The Taoiseach reported in detail to the Dáil on 16 February on the outcome of the European Council and the Government's satisfaction with the agreement reached and I would refer the Deputy to the Taoiseach's statement on that occasion.
