A verbal report was received in my Department from a member of the public of a "near miss" incident alleged to have occurred on 6 May 1987 at 8.05 p.m. in the Kilbarrack-Sutton area. Records kept by the Air Traffic Service at Dublin Airport were examined but yielded no evidence to suggest that any such incident had occurred.
