Vol. 378 No. 6

Written Answers. - Tipperary Water Supply Scheme.

237.

asked the Minister for the Environment if approval will be forthcoming at an early date for the proposal by Tipperary North Riding County Council to augment the Borrisoleigh water supply scheme at an estimated cost of £100,000 as the urgent necessity for this project has been fully documented by the council to his Department.

Preliminary proposals for this scheme are at present under examination in my Department. I am not in a position to indicate when I will be able to authorise the local authority to proceed with the scheme.
