It was originally intended that the Primary Quota Review Committee would be made up as follows: Catholic Primary School Managers' Association (CPSMA), two members; Irish National Teachers' Organisation (INTO), two members; National Parents' Council (Primary), two members; Department of Education, two members.
Since the CPSMA, the INTO and the National Parents' Council have declined the invitations to participate, it has not been possible to convene a full meeting of the committee. The quota review is accordingly being conducted by my Department.
