Because of the pressure on the capital available to my Department for the national schools building programme, I am not in a position to authorise at present the extension proposed for Kilcummin national school, County Kerry.
However, at the request of the school authorities my Department is considering the possibility of providing a modified three classroom extension for the school I will inform the Deputy of the decision in this regard in due course.
