asked the Minister for Education in view of the indefinite deferment of an approved grant of £60,000 from Dublin County Council to the Kilnamanagh Residents' Association for the construction of a community hall and in view of the fact that the project as a result, stands in jeopardy, if she will increase the grant from her Department of £166,000 already approved so that the project can continue; and if she will provide the additional £60,000 needed from national lottery funds.

While I sympathise with the residents' association I regret that I cannot increase my Department's very generous grant of £166,000 for the Kilnamanagh Community Centre although Dublin County Council have indefinitely deferred their portion of the grant.
