Contract documents for the proposed Castlepollard sewerage scheme have been submitted to my Department but the Council have yet to confirm that the necessary preliminary arrangements have been completed. For this reason, and taking account of the number of schemes competing for the available capital, I cannot say at this stage when the scheme will be allowed to proceed.
