Vol. 379 No. 6

Written Answers. - Lismore, Waterford, School Transport.

288.

asked the Minister for Education if she will reconsider allowing school transport to the children of persons (details supplied) in County Waterford in view of the fact that they are the only children in the area without this and the bus to Lismore national school already passes their homes.

The children in question are already availing themselves of school transport to Lismore national school. The service does not pass their homes — they are required to travel 0.4 and 0.5 miles respectively to the pick-up point. They are considered to be adequately served under this arrangement.
