FÁS is reviewing all its programmes including the Community Enterprise Programme (CEP) at present with a view to producing an integrated package of programmes for the convenience of those using FÁS services.
The following grants are available under the CEP at present; 1. Grants for product investigation and group development. 2. Enterprise Worker Grants: to employ an enterprise worker for a maximum of 12 months to develop specific business ideas to the point of start-up, and; 3. "Start-up" assistance is provided to groups for salary costs e.g. towards a manager's salary/marketing and administration costs.
