Vol. 381 No. 4

Written Answers. - Navan (Meath) Livestock Officer.

74.

asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a livestock officer will be appointed to his Department in Navan, County Meath, to process the files where payments have been delayed for up to six months because there is no officer there on a full time basis to sign the files and forward them to the Department; and if he will rectify this situation.

Although there is no undue delay in the processing of applications from the above office, it is hoped nevertheless that a livestock officer can be appointed there shortly.
