asked the Minister for Defence if his attention has been drawn to the concern among residents living close to the McKee Barracks firing range, Dublin 7 following the discovery of a number of spent rounds at the rear of houses at Blackhorse Avenue; if he will arrange for an investigation to discover the way in which the rounds came to be in this area; his views on whether it is satisfactory to have an open firing range in the middle of a residential area in the middle of Dublin; if he will review safety procedures at the range or consider relocating it; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
