There has been no delay in approving funds for this scheme.
In May, 1988 I approved contract documents for the scheme as well as the charging of the cost to the capital account of the Swords Sewage Treatment Plant. I have recently approved the acceptance of a tender for the work and, I understand, arrangements are being made by the council to allow work to begin.
