I have not met the National Youth Council since assuming office on 10 March 1987. Arrangements, however, have been made with the Council for the Minister of State with responsibility for Youth Affairs, Deputy Frank Fahey, to hold regular meetings with them to discuss matters of particular concern to the youth organisations involved. Already four such meetings have taken place.
