The total number of recipients of aid under EAGGF guidance fund schemes is in excess of 100,000. Accordingly, it is not possible to supply the detailed information requested by the Deputy.

The total includes some £78 million in respect of market intervention operations covering a range of costs such as handling, storage, beef deboning and the financing of the capital used to fund the stocks.
