I assume that the Deputy is referring to the 13 counties which formed the region covered by the western package when it was introduced on 15 April 1981. The take-up of grant aid in these counties from 15 April 1981 to 30 September 1988 (the latest date for which figures are available) is set out in a tabular statement which I propose to circulate in the Official Report.
