I have now received the reports of the Fair Trade Commission under the Mergers, Take-overs and Monopolies (Control) Act, 1978, as amended, on the proposals by G C & C Brands plc and by Pernod-Ricard to acquire the shares in Irish Distillers Group plc. The reports are currently being considered by me.
