The legal requirements for the purchase of a site on the property of the Holy Cross secondary school, Kenmare for the proposed new Kenmare community school are currently nearing completion. The estimated cost of the new school is £2.16 million. The preparation and signing of a deed of trust will not arise until the new school has been provided.
It is not seen as necessary at this time to deploy an officer to travel to Kenmare to convey the above information.
