I have recently appointed a manager for Ringaskiddy Free Port whose main function will be the promotion of the free port area. I have also appointed an advisory committee to assist him in his tasks. It will now be a matter for the manager and the advisory committee to draw up their plans for marketing the free port and to co-ordinate effective co-operation of the relevant state agencies in the marketing and promotion of the free port.
