I have received a very recent request for funding from Milford Hospice, Limerick.
The Deputy will appreciate that Milford Hospice is a private institution and as such does not receive any direct State funding. However, in view of the particular service being carried out there, I have asked an officer of my Department to visit the hospice and to discuss the matter with the Mid-Western Health Board.
