A proposal to interlink the Cranford and Carrigart water supply systems to augment water supplies in the Carrigart and Rosguill areas is under consideration in my Department. Having regard to the competing demands for funds for various high priority schemes throughout the country, I cannot say at this stage when I will be in a position to approve the proposal.
