asked the Minister for Education if she will give favourable consideration to an application for the provision of a remedial teacher at Crookstown national school, Athy, County Kildare; if her attention has been drawn to the need for the appointment of this teacher; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the need to appoint a remedial teacher at Kilmeade national school, Athy, County Kildare; if she will make provision for this appointment now or in the context of the 1990 Estimates; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction a remedial teaching post for St. John's infants' school, Kilkenny, because of the urgent need for same; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

400.

asked the Minister for Education if she will sanction a remedial teaching post for Urlingford national school, County Kilkenny in view of the necessity of same; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 358, 392, 399 and 400 together.

The question of making provision for additional appointments as remedial teacher in the current school year is at present receiving active attention in my Department.
