My Department's records indicate that the applicant was first granted permission to reside here in 1983. That approval was renewed, on application, from time to time up to March 1988. Examination of the application for renewal at that time gave rise to doubts as to whether she should in the ordinary way be given permission to reside here. Inquiries to resolve the matter have just been completed and permission to reside here will issue to her in the near furture.
